Maybe there is a way to uninstall first the current directx 11 and then windows update automatic will find me directx 11 so i can install it again and then maybe it will fix the problem? Im playing battlefield 2 for years since its out. Now few months ago i bought new pc i7 with windows 7 64bit 6gb ram and ati hd 1gb video card. The game worked perfect untill yesterday noon for some reason the game crashed just before the EA logo when you first run the game.

Just saw black screen like its loading the game for seconds and then its back to windows like nothing happend. Then i could get into the game but since then each time im connecting a server when its finishing loading the server just before i press JOIN the game crash automatic to the windows. Sometimes i cant even run it just black screen for seconds and back to windows. I checked few times and im sure i didnt install anything yesterday there were no windows updates.

Nothing changed since last time i played the game wich was yesterday night just few hours before the first strange crash. So no error msg's. But i found out when i run dxdiag when its collecting info im getting error say : Problem getting extra sound info.
