When I install the first time using wifi connection, no printer was detected. Then I install it through USB connection; and install again through wifi connection.

The problem was solved. I can use all the functions properly. Mar 29, AM. I am having a similar problem with my printer. The computer won't recognize the printer for some reason. I think it is either that the HP P router needs to be updated for Windows 8, or that the Bonjour 2. I don't think I should need Bonjour because my computer is plugged directly into the router.
