Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your feedback. Thanks for the answer. I guess I should've also mentioned that this is a wired controller. All the steps provided in the link were mostly for Bluetooth controllers. Unfortunately, the app won't even recognize my controller. I had a few other xbox controllers lying around and I tried those. They also show up as the unknown usb device. It seems like my controller drivers just completely broke themselves.

I'm having the same problem I think. If you don't mind, how does one go about uninstalling a chipset?
